The first Young Syrian Urbanists Network (YSU) Annual Assembly

The first annual assembly of the YSU network held in October in Berlin addressed the shifted role of urbanists and architects when urban settings change dramatically, more specifically in Syria. Under the annual theme of the network (human centered urbanism), the members of the YSU network critically discussed urban development projects in the Syrian context through different interdisciplinary perspectives. Around 30 urban practitioners and members aged between 25 and 35 attended the meeting in hybrid settings, some of which will be available online.
